Here the artist has delved into India Ink in order to expose herself to new approaches. Extremely fine detail work allows the viewer to get lost in a piece which belies its size; an entire microcosm of a moment seems to have been fragmented and laid bare, and if one allows it, figures can be seen to dance in front of our eyes. Painted with India Ink on a deep 3.5cm stretched canvas - the painting wraps around the sides of the canvas allowing the painting to be hung directly without framing.
