A painting which, at first, seems to be a meditation of abstract shapes, becomes something entirely different when we see the artist's title of the work. Suddenly one can see intermingled figures, can sense music in the air, perhaps even make out market stalls. A new way of seeing is opened for us. Painted with acrylic paint and acrylic ink on a deep 3.5cm stretched canvas - the painting wraps around the sides of the canvas allowing the painting to be hung directly without framing.
