You can envelop me with love, and if a tear falls, from cheek to crown, it will enrich, enliven, ennoble. *********** There is nothing that exemplifies devotion more than the connection between a mother and child. This innate sensation, coupled with the unique sights, sounds, and vivid colours experienced by the artist when living in Cambodia, inspired this painting. It took a number of months for Adrianna to complete this painting, carefully layering and adapting the colour tones, all whilst surrounded by the heavy humid air of Phnom Penh, and always fascinated by the strange and wonderful sights and sounds around her. *********** The painting is a stunning large 90 x 170cm high-quality oil painting on canvas, mounted on 2cm deep stretchers.
