Painted for an annual showcase in Zakopane, Poland, Adrianna has incorporated the showcase’s theme of ‘Angels’ into one of her favourite subjects - the humble tree. As with her other work “Theatre Play: Angels”, this piece does not toe a traditionally religious line, yet evokes a wholly spiritual and ancient connection between the physical world and one less known and understood. Painted with oil paint on a deep 3.5cm stretched canvas - the painting wraps around the sides of the canvas allowing the painting to be hung directly without framing.
