Painted across three canvasses with one 50x70cm canvas in the centre, and two 30x70cm canvasses at the sides, this vivid abstract work reminds us of the artist's earlier work "Formic Syntax", with a playful sense of movement and vitality. Each of the three canvasses are painted with oil paint on 3.5cm stretched canvasses - the painting wraps around the sides of the canvasses allowing the triptych to be hung directly without framing.

A unique and fascinating sculpture which demonstrates a growing maturity in the artist’s experiments with this format. A smaller piece at 34cm tall and wide, with a depth of 11cm, this abstract figurative study is made out of wire mesh and modelling clay, finished with carefully selected fragments of oxidised metal leaf.
