Painted across two 60 x 70cm canvasses, this work represents quite a stylistic departure for the artist. A much more minimal scene is presented, with silhouetted figures interacting and interlocking, where limbs give way to landscape, and the space between us hints at relective waters, deep and ancient. Each canvas is painted with oil paint on a deep 3.5cm stretched canvas - the painting wraps around the sides of the canvas allowing the painting to be hung directly without framing.
