This work was completed in the depths of the grey Berlin winter, and it's easy to sense the artist's need for colour, light, and variety. This abstract study of colour still manages to go beyond the realm of the simple, with echoes of figures interacting amongst the shapes. Painted with oil paint on a deep 3.5cm stretched canvas - the painting wraps around the sides of the canvas allowing the painting to be hung directly without framing.
