On one hand here we can sense the close up view of a fragment of the natural world, the intricacies and interconnectedness of life. And yet in another interpretation we can zoom out and find ourselves viewing a larger environment, a forest full of complex relationships and dependencies. Painted with oil paint on a deep 3.5cm stretched canvas - the painting wraps around the sides of the canvas allowing the painting to be hung directly without framing.
